Bark for Life
Esther Short Park September 17th, 11am-2pm
Bark For Life (BFL) is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
We had information about our rescue, had a raffle with some amazing prizes and two of our foster pups, ( Blue and Ziggy) made an appearance. We met a ton of amazing people in the community and hope to make even more friends next year!
Our Bark For Life of Clark County is a fundraising event that honors the care giving qualities of our canine "Best Friends". Monies raised contribute to and are included in our annual Relay For Life of Clark County event total. BFL honors the life-long contribution of our Canine Caregivers. It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society.
Canine companions who, with their owners, are joining the Relay teams and participants to celebrate cancer survivorship, to honor people lost to cancer, to fund-raise in support of cancer research, education, awareness, patient services, advocacy, and to help eliminate the suffering that cancer causes worldwide.
