Traci has been involved in rescue all her life. She grew up in Southern Oregon and followed in the footsteps of her mother who took in every stray animal who came their way. When she moved out to the country in 2004, she began rescuing and rehabilitating horses from the feedlots in Eastern Oregon. In 2015, she began rescuing dogs and helping other rescues by fostering, which led her to meet Kathleen Metcalf. Together they founded Sacred Pawz and the rest is history.

Traci has 4 dogs, a plethora of farm chickens, a beloved horse of 23 years Tazz, 3 adult children, and 3 grandchildren.
